I’m absolutely thrilled that this month I came in second place and won the public vote for Retreat West’s 100-word monthly microfiction competition on the prompt “NET”.
This is such a wonderful little competition and when I first started dabbling in flash fiction at the end of last year I a. didn’t know if I’d be any good and b. didn’t know if I’d like it. But it’s now one of my favourite things to do in my spare time, and it seems I might just be getting a little bit better at it.
