As some of you know, my writing this year has been focussed on a novel that is incredibly personal to me. I decided, by means of putting a rocket up my own arse, to enter it into the odd competition. However for various reasons, I’ve been struggling with it a lot of late. Then on Friday came the morale boost I so sorely needed:
